FAROMA Sustainability

Achieving the ideal balance between the three pillars of sustainability - environmental, social and economic - is a constant challenge that Faroma carefully considers in every decision it makes.

At Faroma, care starts from the inside: with people.

Faroma believes in the importance of a healthy, balanced and inclusive working environment. It values the all-round well-being of its employees, promotes diversity, combats discrimination and harassment, and invests in safety and prevention. It also encourages open dialogue, considering everyone's participation essential for building a more sustainable company.

Energy and Consumption:

In June 2023, Faroma took an important step towards a more sustainable operation by installing solar panels. With an installed capacity of 50 kWh, the company was able to achieve an energy self-consumption rate of 60% per year. This project represented a total investment of €82,500.00, 75% of which was co-financed by the PRR - Recovery and Resilience Plan, as part of the Decarbonisation of Industry initiative.

Reducing external dependence on energy, combined with reducing internal consumption by gradually switching to more economical equipment, will make Faroma greener, reducing our ecological footprint.

Suppliers and materials:

The raw materials used and the dyeing processes employed by Faroma in its industrial process are mostly supplied by certified national suppliers.

By choosing certified companies we try to ensure that our partners share our environmental and social values.

Waste:

All the waste produced by Faroma is delivered for treatment to a company certified by Silamb.

Future ambitions - Complete the digital transformation.

Faroma has already started its digital transition process, namely by dematerialising the registration of orders with its customers and agents and starting the electronic invoicing process.

Faroma's aim is to transform its entire document process, making it completely digital.
